What Is Wet Dustless Blasting?

We use at a “wet” abrasive blasting method that is more eco-friendly and safer on metal items than traditional dry sandblasting.

In dry blasting, metal surfaces can easily warp, due to the high frictional heat from the abrasive media.

Wet blasting, or dustless blasting uses high pressure air, water and aggregate as an abrasive source. The water blasting technique cools the blasted surface up to 15% more than ambient air temperature.

Once the surface is cleaned to bare metal a layer of rust inhibiter is applied to prevent rust from forming. The surface will then be ready for primer and paint if requested.
Media Blasting Chooses
With the right pressure and the right media, we can restore most surfaces to their original state! Media Blasting can be performed with a variety of abrasives to remove a variety of substances from multiple surfaces. The chart below shows some forms of media that can be used.
